| Description: | The article deals with the linguistic heritage of Ivan Ohienko, his fundamental research and scientific studies on the origin and history of the development of the Ukrainian literary language, as well as the translation and publishing activities of the outstanding linguist. Particular attention is paid to the most important ideas and views of the scientist and their influence on the development of modern speech culture. |
